W. Silver is seeking a reliable forklift operator to safely transfer materials during unloading, loading and storage. You will organize and secure stored items such as pallets, boxes and sacks and assist in shipping preparation.

The role requires high school diploma, prior forklift experience preferred, and the ability to perform pre- and post-inspections, complete paperwork accurately, and greet customers arriving on site while supporting a safe, efficient operation.

Qualificações

• High school diploma.
• Some previous experience as a forklift operator.

Responsabilidades

• Operate forklift to transfer materials during unloading and loading.
• Organize and secure stored materials (pallets, boxes, bags) per standards.
• Manual loading/unloading from pallets/platforms.
• Perform routine pre- and post-inspections; report issues to supervisor.
• Report any damage to company property (racking, trailers, equipment).
• Weigh products or materials and record weight on labels/tags.
• Complete paperwork, tally sheets and reports accurately.
• Prepare material for shipment and load for shipping.
• Attend forklift operator training and certification as required.
• Greet and assist customers arriving on site to sell material promptly and courteously.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager.
