Job summary

Greif, a global leader in performance packaging, seeks a Forklift Operator in Wisconsin. You will provide material handling and preparation support to ensure accurate quality and quantity of recycled paper stock for mill customers.

Key duties include safe material handling, daily equipment checks, and quality inspections to meet company standards. Typically, a high school diploma and 1-2 years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to operate various machines as required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently or in a group.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety practices and participate in drills.
• Attend required safety training and safety drills.
• Report safety and quality problems to Production leads.
• Inspect machines for safe operation.
• Check vehicle and trailer for mechanical and safety readiness.
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on forklift or equipment daily.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials using forklift.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure orders meet standards.
• Keep equipment and materials neat and orderly.
• Maintain productivity at acceptable levels.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
