Job summary

Westlake is seeking a forklift operator to move products and materials around the facility, ensuring timely loading of trucks with correct color profiles and accurate documentation. You will also unload inbound shipments and support shipping/receiving processes while maintaining inventory records.

Applicants should be able to work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate effectively within a team.

Qualifications

• Able to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move product and materials around the facility.
• Load trucks with the correct tile color and profile and unload inbound shipments.
• Complete shipping and receiving documents and record changes on pick sheets/slips.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and document scrap material.
• Adhere to safety and environmental rules and wear PPE as required.
• Perform daily forklift checks and work in outdoor conditions when needed.
