Job summary

Westlake is seeking a forklift operator for our Henderson, Nevada facility. The role involves moving products and materials efficiently while strictly adhering to safety policies and procedures.

You will load and unload trucks, record load data, assist with inventory counts, complete shipping and receiving documents, and help maintain warehouse organization. A high school diploma and about 1 year of related experience are preferred; pay starts at $22.72 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions.
• High school diploma preferred.
• About 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Westlake Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Load trucks with tile color and profile in a timely manner.
• Operate forklift on and off the shift.
• Unload inner-company transfer trucks and assist with unloading other shipments.
• Complete shipping and receiving documents.
• Record pick sheets/slip changes with product loaded.
• Maintain inventory levels and document scrap material.
• Participate in yearly/monthly inventory counting/reconciliation.
• Review loads to ensure zero breakage per quality specs.
• Follow safety and environmental rules and procedures.
• Present a professional image to customers.
• Complete Forklift Check Sheet daily.
• Work in non-controlled weather environments.
• Perform other duties as directed.
