Job summary

Kenco is hiring a Forklift Operator in Columbia, SC to safely operate powered industrial equipment, load and unload shipments, and manage inventory with accuracy. You will scan items, print labels, and complete accompanying paperwork, while following safety procedures and quality controls.

Daily tasks include inspections and cycle counts. The role requires at least two years of forklift experience, a valid forklift license (or ability to obtain one), and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years forklift operating experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be willing to obtain a forklift license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution.
• Load, unload, and store products; stack and transport to designated areas.
• Scan products and print labels; complete paperwork and update inventory systems as needed.
• Perform daily safety inspections and keep forklift trucks inspection-ready.
• Assist with cycle counts and housekeeping tasks as assigned.
