Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF equipment. The role requires adherence to OSHA standards and maintaining a clean work area.

Must have a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and some related experience. Ability to work independently and occasionally overtime may be required. This position is based in North Little Rock, AR with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Overtime/evenings/weekends and strict attendance may be required.
• Attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check for accuracy, and label and wrap items.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely according to OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, or battery changes as needed.
