Job summary

UNIS is seeking a dependable Forklift Driver in El Paso, TX to move product safely and accurately throughout the warehouse. You will support receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and loading to ensure on-time customer shipments.

Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach, or order-picker forklifts, use RF scanners and WMS, and perform equipment inspections with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy. A valid forklift certification and 1+ year experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of forklift experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or transportation environment.
• Forklift/powered industrial truck certification required, with experience operating sit-down, stand-up, reach, or order-picker equipment.
• Experience using RF scanners, WMS technology, and other warehouse tools to complete and track assignments.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights using reach trucks or order pickers as required.
• Strong commitment to safety, accuracy, equipment care, teamwork, and dependable attendance.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, overtime, or extended hours based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move, stage, load, and unload product.
• Use RF scanners and WMS to confirm product, locations, quantities, and task completion.
• Perform equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies.
• Support inventory accuracy by following proper put-away, picking, staging, loading, and inventory control procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following PPE, traffic, and warehouse safety requirements.
• Support operational needs across the warehouse and contribute ideas that improve safety, accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
