ManpowerGroup is seeking a Forklift Operator in Sumter, SC. Pay is $18.40–$18.80/hour, with a 3-2-2-3 rotating shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The role supports warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety compliance while offering opportunities for skill development and career growth within a leading logistics organization. Responsibilities include moving palletized goods, operating equipment like high reach and electric pallet jacks, and using RF/WMS tools to maintain accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience driving a forklift.
• Experience with high reach or counterbalance forklifts.
• Able to obtain forklift certification within 2 days of employment.
• Able to read and interpret distribution documents in English and operate MHE with RF scanners.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Transport palletized products within the distribution center, including unloading, put-away, bulk handling, and pallet picking.
• Operate various material handling equipment such as high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
• Utilize RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure inventory accuracy and track products efficiently.
• Maintain product integrity and follow all safety procedures, including the use of PPE like safety vests and shoes.
• Assist in cross-training in other areas of the warehouse to provide backup support when needed.
