Abbott in United States is seeking an Operator Warehouse Receiving role at the Altavista, VA location within the Nutrition Supply Chain division. The role focuses on receiving, storing, labeling, and verifying raw materials and finished goods using the Cambar/MITS system to support FEFO compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to operate a forklift. Preferred candidates have WMS experience and basic PC skills, with work in a shift premium environment.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and properly utilize finished goods and raw material selection using Cambar/MITS to support FEFO.
• Store, pick or assemble materials in the warehouse, verifying item numbers, quantity, release status and lot numbers.
• Check materials against packaging lists, invoices, freight bills or other documentation for conformity and accuracy.
• Store all raw materials in assigned warehouse areas.
• Before storing, remove visibly damaged products and return to the appropriate processing area.
• Label and receive raw materials into the MITs system; stage labels and complete label control portion of work order.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

What You’ll Work On

• Understand and properly utilize finished goods and raw material selection by using the Cambar/MITS system to support FEFO.
• Store, pick or assemble materials in the warehouse, verifying the commodity number, quantity, and release status and lot number.
• Check materials against packaging lists, invoices, freight bills or other pertinent documentation to assure conformity and accuracy.
• Store all raw materials in assigned areas within the warehouse.
• Prior to storing, remove all visibly damaged products and return it to the appropriate processing area.
• Properly label and receive raw materials into the MITs system.
• Stage labels and complete label control portion of work order.
• You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate and obtain a forklift driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of a Warehouse Management System.
• Ability to efficiently using a personal computer.

The base pay for this position is $17.15 – $34.25/hour In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
