Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Part-Time Forklift Operator at our Pembroke Pines, FL service center. You will move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 ft, operating a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock.

Starting pay is $23.01 per hour with benefits, including medical/dental/vision, Paid Vacation after 90 days, and access to our employee resorts. We welcome dependable candidates who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experiences.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 ft.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
• Maintain safety and efficiency during the shift.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part-time Forklift Operators at our Pembroke Pines, FL service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to read manifests
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display
• Forklift experience
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment
• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment
• Some LTL experiences
