Job summary

R+L Carriers in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a part-time Forklift Operator to move freight safely in and out of 53’ trailers on a roofed dock.

Starting at $18.71 per hour, Monday–Friday shifts with medical/dental/vision benefits, paid vacation after 90 days, and access to company perks including resort housing in select locations.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience.
• Able to bend, lift and stoop.
• Able to read manifests.
• Able to read/interact with a computer display.
• Must be dependable in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part-time Forklift Operators at our Tallahassee, FL service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
