Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a part-time Forklift Operator at our Springfield, IL service center. The hourly rate is $24.01, and you will move freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock.

This shift runs Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. PTO is available after 90 calendar days, and employees enjoy a benefits package including medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with company matching, vacation and holiday pay, and access to our exclusive

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience preferred.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
