Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Milwaukee, WI dock. The role involves moving freight in and out of 53’ trailers and operating a forklift on a covered but non-climate-controlled dock.

Starting pay is $25.39 per hour with a full benefits package and vacation after 90 days. Shift options include 2nd and 3rd; weekends may be required based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop
• Ability to read manifests
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display
• Forklift experience
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment
• Some LTL experiences

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
