Job summary

R+L Carriers in Piedmont, SC is seeking a Part-time Forklift Operator to move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock. The schedule includes Sunday 7:00 PM – 1:00 AM and Tuesday – Friday, 4:00 AM – 10:00 AM.

Must be able to bend, lift and stoop; read manifests; and read/interact with a computer display. Preferred candidates have forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part -time Forklift Operators at our Piedmont, SC service center. As Forklift Operator you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty

Ability to read manifests

Ability to read/interact with a computer display

Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment

Preferred

• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment
• Some LTL experiences
