Job summary

R+L Carriers, Inc. in Hagerstown, MD is hiring part-time Forklift Operators to move freight safely on and off 53’ trailers at our dock. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read manifests and use a computer display, and forklift experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate forklift on a roofed dock area.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies during unloading and loading.
• Read shipment manifests and verify accuracy during handling.

Part‑time, Monday‑Friday, Various Shifts

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part‑time Forklift Operators at our Hagerstown, MD service center. As a Forklift Operator you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
