Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to receive, store, and distribute materials within our facility. You will utilize industrial power equipment to move goods, follow SOPs, and ensure accurate, timely delivery to departments or shipping docks.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, at least 2 years of forklift experience, and forklift certification. Strong English skills and teamwork are required, with strict safety and pre-shift checks emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Forklift Operator role.
• Must understand oral and written English.
• Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.
• Forklift certification required.
• Must have completed the Forklift I Matrices Sign-Off Sheets and approved by an Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and distribute material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts following SOPs for assigned area.
• Move materials to storage locations and to departments or shipping docks.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and maintain safety standards.
• Load/unload materials from pallets and transport devices.
• Weigh materials and record data on tags or labels.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Complete duties safely and professionally as assigned.
