Job summary

Our client in Michigan is seeking a Forklift Operator to support day-to-day material movement, inventory accuracy, and safe shipping readiness. You will operate powered equipment, load and unload, and ensure correct product counts from receiving to shipment.

Requirements include at least 1 year of forklift experience, ability to spend 80% of the shift on equipment, and strong safety and communication skills. This is an on-site role in Livonia with a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator with at least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to spend 80% of the shift operating powered equipment.
• Basic familiarity with warehousing processes and safety rules.
• Good written and verbal communication and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment (forklift/clamp truck) to load/unload, move stock, and stage products (80% of shift).
• Pull and prepare product for shipment with exact counts and types loaded.
• Check inbound/outbound products for damage and ensure codes/dates match requirements.
• Maintain accurate records to support inventory accuracy and load verification.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards and complete daily equipment inspections.
