Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Forklift Operator for a permanent, on-site role in Cottage Grove, MN. You will stage units, load/unload trailers and perform safety-focused duties in a paper products facility. The shift is 2nd shift, 4PM-12 Midnight, Monday–Friday, with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to stage units and load/unload trailers efficiently.
• Strong attention to paperwork accuracy.
• Commitment to following safety policies and reporting incidents.
• Willingness to complete monthly online safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure units are banded properly and have a clear visible load tag.
• Stage units in the warehouse and load/unload trailers efficiently.
• Perform a visual quality inspection on items and verify truck counts.
• Ensure that all paperwork is accurate.
• Follow all safety and company policies, reporting any issues, accidents, or incidents immediately.
• Complete online safety training each month as assigned.
• Maintain regular and exemplary attendance.
• Read the Wet End run schedule and prepare the correct rolls for coming paper grades.
• Drive and handle rolls safely according to company rules and training.
• Assist operators in peeling and prepping damaged rolls.
• Ensure butt rolls are properly prepped for return to the roll room.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
