Job summary

Reno Airstream Adventures in Reno, NV is hiring a Forklift Operator / Porter to support trailer movement and dealership operations. The role requires forklift certification and daily safety practices to meet production standards.

You will operate forklifts, perform pre-use checks, and assist guests with trailer connections while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Flexible shifts may include part-time or full-time hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years forklift driving experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency and time management.
• Critical Thinking - using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Previous experience communicating with a variety of people
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

Responsibilities

• Must become certified on Forklift through AANW and maintain certification throughout employment.
• Complete Forklift daily check list.
• Safely move trailers inside and outside of Technician bays to help achieve production standards.
• Regularly uses walkie-talkie/radios for communication with other Team Members.
• Safely move trailers from intake to storage area.
• Ability to arrange and move trailers in constrained and tight areas.
• Follow all safety guidelines pertaining to operation of forklift which includes utilizing a "spotter" when moving units.
• Maintain our dealership's standard of excellence in quality and service.
• Inspect the units thoroughly and immediately report damage to Manager.
• Assists Guests in both hooking and unhooking trailers as needed.
• Maintain the proper function of all tools and equipment and report any issues (i.e. broken or malfunctioning equipment) to Manager.
• May cross train to perform other duties.

Department Hours: Monday - Saturday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
