Latham, NY-based L0367 Ford of Latham is hiring a Lot Attendant/Porter to keep vehicles clean and ready for customers. You will report to the sales manager and work on-site, with a schedule that includes Saturdays. This role fits those who like a busy day and enjoy the automotive industry.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, moving vehicles, maintaining lot appearance, and assisting with deliveries. Prior customer service experience is valued; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a customer-facing role or automotive environment.
• Able to operate multiple vehicles including manual and automatic transmissions.
• Demonstrates strong communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicles clean, serviced, and ready for delivery.
• Maintain vehicle display and lot appearance.
• Greet and assist customers dropping off vehicles for repairs.
• Move vehicles to support sales activities and site deliveries.
• Install disposable covers and floor mats in serviced vehicles.
• Apply protective coating to front of vehicles and windshields.
• Ensure showroom and lot look neat and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Now hiring a Lot Attendant/Porter! Hourly Rate of Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour Schedule: Schedule includes Saturdays. You will report to the sales manager for this onsite position. You will report to the sales manager. This is an on-site position in Latham, NY.

Responsibilities

• As a Lot Attendant/Service Porter you will take care of vehicles in the service area and for ensuring all vehicles are clean and ready for delivery to customers.


• You will also help maintain merchandise materials current on vehicles.


• Greet and assist customers dropping off vehicles for repairs.


• Move and work with vehicles to maintain vehicle display and support vehicle sales activities.


• Deliver vehicles to sites and locations.


• Thoroughly clean (wash, vacuum and polish) and maintain all vehicles.


• Install disposable covers and floor mats in vehicle interiors being serviced.


• Apply chemical protecting coating to front of vehicles and windshields.


• Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the store, showroom and lot.


• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience


• Operate several cars, light trucks, and vans, with an ability to guide both manual and automatic transmissions


• A team player who is focused on providing customer service


• Represent us through performance, punctuality, and appearance


• Build positive working relationships


• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence


• Hourly Rate: $16.00 to $20.00 Actual pay offered may vary depending on experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
