Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a forklift operator to ensure efficient day-to-day material handling within the MRF Operations team in Florida. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, moving materials, and preparing shipments with accuracy.

A non-expired forklift certification and OSHA safety compliance are required; a first-day forklift test must be passed. Candidate should be reliable, flexible with hours, and able to maintain inventory records and a tidy workspace.

Responsibilities

This position is for a forklift driver with at minimum 1 year of experience. Candidate should have experience with operating and managing industrial trucks to load and upload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or storage facilities.Experience and Competencies:1-2 years of verifiable experience.Load, upload, move material using various types of forklifts or other power equipment.Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.Comply with all OSHA standards.Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.Compete daily inspection of equipment.Pass a forklift driving test conducted on first day to include operation of equipment and inspection.A non-expired Forklift Certification.Strong work ethic, reliable and job tenureBe able to work flexible hoursPersonal Characteristics:Behave Ethically: Understand ethical behavior and business practices.
