Job summary

Borusan Pipe US is seeking a hands-on Forklift Operator to move pipe material through production lines in a safe, policy-driven manner. This role requires operating forklifts and Pettibone equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate material transfers on MES.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, basic English skills, and a willingness to work rotating shifts with overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with at least one year of forklift operation experience.
• Basic English reading, writing, and arithmetic.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Able to work a flexible/rotating schedule including overtime.
• Able to respond to call outs as required.
• Experience operating pipe mill, heat treat, hydro/inspection, threadlines.
• Experience loading/unloading trucks safely.
• Experience operating Pettibone for rail loading.

Responsibilities

• Maintain transfer and production operations per BMP policies and procedures.
• Instruct yard helper of the transfer and housekeeping operation.
• Verifies all loading and unloading of material for assurance.
• Assists Inventory Control for verification of counts and material.
• Routes trucks to loading and unloading destinations within the yard.
• Rack material per BMP policies and procedures.
• Communicate to Yard Lead-Man/Supervisor any problems with material, racks, or trucks.
• Assisting at processing inbound and outbound racks when needed.
• Communicate to Yard Management any problems with equipment.
• Follow all PPE policies and safety rules.
