Job summary

Borusan Berg Pipe is a leading North American steel line pipe manufacturer with locations across the U.S. We seek full-time Production Machine Support Operators for our Mobile, Alabama plant.

You will operate roll lines, use a variety of tools and equipment, and support safe, efficient production. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; heavy industrial manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll lines to transport pipe.
• Operate a range of mechanical tools and equipment including: MIG welder, overhead crane, dial indicator, calipers, forklift, and grinding tools.
• Monitor and ensure equipment and tools are operating properly.
• Maintain adequate supplies necessary to perform assigned tasks.

• $24.87 per hour
• Anniversary % rate increases at 1 year up to 8 years

Primary Duties

• Operate roll lines to transport pipe
• Operate mechanical tools, equipment, and devices including: standard hand tools, disk grinders, torque wrench, measuring tape, micrometer, dial indicator, calipers, pallet jack, lifting devices, motorized forklift, MIG welder, oxy/ fuel cutting torch, chisel, milling tool, robotic stenciler, Die Stamp gun, come-a-longs, coating blast caps, overhead crane, Track Mobile, and dunnage handling
• Operate area equipment and control panels
• Maintain adequate supplies necessary to perform assigned tasks
• Monitor and ensure equipment and tools are operating properly

Education & Work Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Heavy industrial manufacturing experience (Preferred)
