Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Material Handler to transport materials from finishing to shipping, primarily operating a forklift and wrapping pallets for shipment. The role requires English proficiency and the ability to work rotating shifts, with overtime on occasion.

Responsibilities include loading pallets, performing daily forklift checks, and ensuring compliance with Safe Quality Foods (SQF) procedures. Benefits and competitive pay are provided by GPI.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience required or preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve loaded pallets from finishing area and transport to shipping using a forklift.
• Wrap loads with plastic wrap using shrink-wrapping machinery.
• Load finished materials onto outgoing trucks with a forklift.
• Perform daily forklift maintenance and safety checks.
• Follow SQF procedures and report unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
