Job summary

48forty Solutions is hiring a Forklift Operator in Kansas City, MO, offering $21.00/hr for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). This role focuses on loading/unloading pallets, moving wood within the plant, and stacking finished goods.

You'll work to maintain a safe, efficient production flow and support the plant team. The job requires 1–3 years forklift experience, warehouse/logistics familiarity, good communication, and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse/logistics setting is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind.
