Job summary

Randstad USA in Kansas City, MO is seeking a warehouse associate to manage palletized inventory on a busy dock operation. You will load, unload, and stage hundreds of pallets daily using a pallet jack, coordinating inbound and outbound flows to minimize congestion.

The role emphasizes accuracy in putaway and retrieval, pedestrian safety on narrow aisles, and participation in cycle counts. Steel-toe shoes required, shift 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM, with comprehensive benefits available.

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

Responsibilities

• Move palletized inventory using pallet jack in a high-traffic environment.
• Assist with receiving and shipping to manage inbound/outbound pallet flow.
• Perform accurate putaway and retrieval to keep stock accessible in designated zones.
• Operate the powered pallet jack safely in narrow aisles and staging lanes.
• Assist on cycle counting and physical inventory checks as needed.

Your responsibilities:

• Master the movement of palletized inventory in a high-traffic environment, using the pallet jack to quickly load, unload, and stage hundreds of pallets per shift.
• Work directly on the receiving and shipping docks to manage inbound and outbound pallet flow, minimizing congestion and downtime.
• Execute accurate putaway and retrieval procedures, ensuring inventory is correctly placed and accessible in designated zones.
• Operate the powered pallet jack with precision when navigating narrow aisles and staging lanes, prioritizing the safety of pedestrian traffic.
• Assist supervisors in cycle counting and physical inventory checks, using the EPJ to move and reorganize stock as necessary.

Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Steel Toes Required.
