Job summary

Macmillan is seeking a Rolling Equipment (Forklift) Operator in its Gordonsville, VA facility. The role supports the Special Projects Department, handling all rolling equipment to move, locate, and stack product while maintaining accurate counts and labeling for inbound and outbound shipments.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, palletizing, cycle counting, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate turret truck, order picker, Pacer, forklift, reach truck, walkie/rider, pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Picks cartons and loose stock from back-up rack locations and moves product to staging areas.
• Places labels on cartons for scanners and prepares product for shipment.
• Loads cartons on conveyors and places product in designated picking locations.
• Counts inbound and outbound freight to ensure quantities match documents.
• Inspects cartons/pallets for damage and ensures correct quantities.
• Maintains accuracy of receipt/shipping documents and updates inventory systems.
