Job summary

Macmillan Learning in Gordonsville seeks a Rolling Equipment (Forklift) Operator in Shipping to move, locate, relocate, pick, and stack products safely and accurately for inbound and outbound shipments.

You will operate turret trucks, order pickers, Pacer and other forklifts, wear a safety harness at elevations, and contribute to a clean, efficient warehouse environment while following all safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Basic math skills for counts and measurements.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lifts and moves cartons from conveyor to pallet drops.
• Loads outbound trucks and prepares product for shipment.
• Counts inbound/outbound freight and verifies quantities.
• Operates various rolling equipment and maintains clean work area.
• Adheres to safety policies and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
