Job summary

MMI Engineered Solutions, Inc. in Saline, MI is seeking a reliable Forklift Driver to support production, packaging, and inventory control. You will operate forklift and scanner equipment, move finished goods, and ensure accurate documentation.

Join a fast-paced team focused on safety, 5S/Lean practices, and cross-department collaboration. This role offers part-time shifts Mon-Wed 12:00pm-6:15pm with alternating long days, and the opportunity to grow with a stable manufacturing company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, including forklift operation and scanner use.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Computer literacy (spreadsheets, word processing, databases).
• Demonstrated accuracy in handling inventory, documentation, and lot number verification.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment and follow company safety procedures.
• Deliver packaging and materials to work centers and assembly areas before startup.
• Move finished products from production to the Pack & Scan area for labeling, scanning, and warehouse transfer.
• Operate forklift to transport materials and ensure proper placement in storage areas.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support cycle counts/inventory control.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S/Lean practices.
• Report and address quality or packaging issues promptly.
