Job summary

MMI Engineered Solutions is seeking a Forklift Drive/Pack & Scan-production to join our Warren, MI facility. The role ensures work centers stay productive by handling packaging, moving finished parts to the Pack & Scan area, and preparing items for warehouse delivery.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of forklift experience, are reliable, and can lift 50 lbs. Familiarity with scanners and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment operating a forklift and using scanners.
• Self-starter with initiative and strong organizational skills.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and be trained to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Move packaging to molding area to keep work centers running.
• Pull finished products to pack & scan area and band or dispose.
• Label and scan items before delivery to the warehouse.
• Suggest process improvements and cost reductions.
• Support lean manufacturing and 5S at work centers.
• Ensure items are placed squarely and located correctly.
