Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a forklift operator at our facility in Ohio. The role requires operating a forklift and wrapping equipment, maintaining organized stock, and supporting production needs. You will work with safety procedures and team members to ensure efficient shipping and receiving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months forklift experience required.
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice (weekdays/weekends).
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and machinery.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain PCA forklift license.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production, inbound forms, inventory tags and counts.
• Assist other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workload and organize warehouses.
• Follow safety rules and report any forklift defects to supervisor or maintenance.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
