Job summary

Arnold Lumber Company in Rhode Island seeks a motivated Material Handler to pick and stage lumber, masonry, and building materials for customer orders and deliveries. You will load and unload trucks, maintain a clean, safe yard, and support inventory accuracy daily.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, forklift certification, and experience operating machinery with knowledge of building materials. You should be able to lift 80 lbs and work safely in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage lumber, masonry, and building materials for orders and deliveries.

• Safely load and unload trucks; maintain proper storage to prevent damage.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment with signage per standards.
• Support inventory and report discrepancies or damaged items promptly.
• Follow safety protocols including forklift inspections and OSHA regulations.
