Job summary

Mt Olive Pickles is seeking a reliable Warehouse Forklift Operator to safely pick and move finished goods within our NC facility. The role requires operating forklift and scanning equipment, adhering to safety rules, and maintaining accurate records.

You'll perform pre-operational checks, handle packaging and loading, and assist with warehouse upkeep. Experience with forklifts and basic math helps, and English literacy is required for tasks and communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; additional training preferred.
• Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English for job tasks.
• Certified forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift and scanning equipment to pick and gather finished goods according to written order.
• Completes pre-operational checklist before operating lift.
• Maintains accurate records of orders picked and loads.
• Transports items to outgoing staging area and ensures loads are wrapped and ready for shipment.
• Cleans warehouse, trailers, loading docks, and surrounding areas; maintains a clean and orderly facility.
• Performs duties as Warehouse General Forklift Operator and Warehouse Rework Laborer when needed.
