Warehouse Operator – C Shift (Nights)
Monday – Friday 9:30pm – 6:00am
Hourly wage: $26.71 plus $1.00 per shift difference
Location: York, PA
ROLE SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for performing all warehouse functions within our high‑volume, fast‑paced distribution center including palletizing and shipping manufactured finished goods, case‑picking, full pallet picking and loading of all outbound orders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Promote a safety culture and awareness within your area.
- Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments according to schedule in terms of correct SKU and quantity versus bills of lading.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and physical inventories for package materials and finished goods.
- Operative safe use of all material handling equipment, including stand‑up forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Utilize computerized WMS (warehouse management system) for all assigned work.
- Single case pick utilizing voice‑to‑pick software system.
- Stack case‑picked pallets so the consignee can obtain an accurate count of product upon receipt.
- Unitize product per CHD packaging specifications.
- Verify lot codes of assigned product, including proper documentation and record keeping.
- Load orders according to standard loading and weight patterns to minimize product damage.
- Labeled pallets properly per customer requirements.
- Assist with the training and certification program as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Six (6) months forklift experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred experience with stand‑up forklift in a warehouse environment.
- Previous experience with WMS preferred.

- Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong communication skills – ability to communicate clearly and concisely in multiple media (verbal, written, etc.).
- Must have ability to communicate clearly in English – verbal and written.
- Strong organizational/time management skills.
REQUIRED TRAINING
Candidates are required to complete all necessary trainings within the defined introductory period.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The operation is not in a climate‑controlled environment; candidates will be exposed to seasonal temperature variations. All candidates must abide by PPE standards and the department dress code.
