Job summary

Conagra Brands in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a material handler to safely operate forklifts, move raw materials, and support production and warehouse operations on 12-hour night shifts. You will maintain accurate records, use SAP and Microsoft Office, and follow food safety and quality standards.

You will be expected to transport, stage, and replenish materials, uphold safety protocols, and contribute to a clean, organized work area while meeting production demands.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Experience maintaining records and using computer systems.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently while following company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Transport, stage, and replenish raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to support production and warehouse operations.
• Complete required equipment inspections, maintain accurate inventory and material movement records, and utilize SAP and Microsoft Office to support daily activities.
• Follow food safety, quality, and safety requirements, including participation in required training programs.
• Verify product, inventory, and shipment information to ensure materials are accurately stored, staged, and moved throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety and operational requirements.
• Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned and trained.

Job description

Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
Hourly Rate: $25.25 an hour + $1.00 shift differential

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will safely transport, stage, and maintain raw materials, supplies, and finished goods throughout the Maple Grove facility.

You will support production and warehouse operations by operating material-handling equipment, maintaining accurate records, and following safety, food safety, quality, and operational standards.

Scheduled to work 12-hour shifts from 7pm – 7am every Monday and Tuesday and every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which is a 2-week pattern of 2 days on, 2 days off, 5 days on, 5 days off. Only scheduled to work 15 days every month, but with built-in overtime pay!

Physical Requirements

More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:

• Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
