Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. in Brockport, NY is hiring for a forklift operator to safely load/unload, stage orders, and move products throughout the facility. Compensation includes a competitive hourly wage and benefits."

Night and day shifts are available with a 2-dollar shift differential, comprehensive health and retirement benefits, and opportunities for advancement within the growing company.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required or preferred.
• Proficient in operating RF scanners and related equipment.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate electric lift trucks to load/unload trucks and railcars and move finished and bulk products throughout the facility.
• Put product away, pick and properly stage orders, stack/retrieve bulk product, and assist with outbound shipments.
• Use RF scanners, Turn-a-Fork and slip-sheet attachments to move products according to inventory requirements.
• Follow GMP, food safety, and facility safety procedures, including trailer chocking and dock safety.
