Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. in Brockport, NY is seeking a forklift operator to safely move products, load/unload trucks, and stage orders in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will use RF scanners and attachments to ensure accurate inventory movement, while following GMP and safety procedures. The position requires at least one year of forklift experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the willingness to work in a loud, cold warehouse with heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year forklift experience, preferably in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to frequently lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs., and bend/reach/

Responsibilities

• Safely operate electric lift trucks to load/unload trucks and railcars and move products.
• Put product away, pick and stage orders, move bulk product, assist outbound shipments.
• Use RF scanners and attachments to track and move products per inventory needs.
• Follow GMP, food safety and facility safety procedures and equipment protocols.
