Job summary

Nortera in Brockport, NY is hiring for a forklift operator to support our frozen vegetable packaging facility as we ramp up production. You will safely operate electric lift trucks to move finished and bulk products, pick and stage orders, and assist with outbound shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of forklift experience, can work 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM including weekends, and are comfortable with a high-touch, physically active role.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of forklift experience in a warehouse environment.
• Able to operate equipment safely with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a physically active role and handling 40–50 lb lifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate electric lift trucks to load/unload trucks and railcars; move finished and bulk products.
• Put product away, pick and stage orders, and assist outbound shipments.
• Use RF scanners and attachments to track and move products per inventory requirements.
