Job summary

Scaffold Resource in Maryland, Lanham, is seeking a Night Shift Forklift Operator to safely load, unload, and move materials within yards, warehouses, and on job sites, ensuring efficiency and safe handling. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid forklift certification required.
• Flagger certification or plan to obtain required.

• State driver’s license active; security requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

The primary responsibility of this role is to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and organize materials within the yard, warehouse, or job site. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficiency, safety, and organization of equipment and inventory. This is a nightshift position. Typical hours are 1:30pm-10:30pm.

Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Security clearance requirements may apply, depending on project and client needs.
• Ability to maintain an active state issued driver's license.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and navigate uneven terrain for extended periods of time.
• Frequent climbing of ladders and stairs.
• Tolerance for working outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
• Frequent crouching, bending, and kneeling as needed.
