Job summary

Plastipak in Champaign is hiring for a Forklift Operator on the Nights shift (6:45pm–7:15am). The rotating schedule is 3 days on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, with two long weekends every month. This full-time role offers a clean, safe, climate-controlled facility and ongoing training.

You will safely operate forklifts, use RF scanners for inventory, load/unload trucks, and move materials around the plant. Pay is $20.25 per hour with a $1.00 night differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year forklift experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Plastipak in Champaign is growing & hiring. We manufacture packaging for products you use every day. Our facility is extremely clean, safe & climate-controlled. Joining us as a Forklift Operator is a great way to get started with Plastipak.
Shift: Nights 6:45pm - 7:15 am

• Standard rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
• Includes 2 long-weekends every month
• Full time schedules are 15 working days a month
  

Pay: Earn $20.25 per hour

• $19.25 per hour
• Plus $1.00 more for night shift differential

You Will

You Have

• A valid driver's license
• Minimum of one year of forklift experience

• Ability to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
