Everlast Roofing, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to load and unload materials, stage coils, and ensure efficient warehouse flow. The role emphasizes safe operation, accurate inventory handling, and coordination with the warehouse team.

A Forklift Operator will have experience operating forklifts, a solid understanding, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, organizing and scanning inventory and ensuring the efficient flow of goods.
Day Shift:
Monday-Wednesday (6am-3:30 pm)
Thursday & Friday (6 am-3pm)
OR
Night Shift:
Monday-Wednesday (3:30 pm-completion)
Thursday & Friday (3 pm- completion)
Proactively pulling coils and materials to stage for shipments.
Safely operate forklifts to handle material.
Transport materials to designated storage areas within the facility.
Stack and organize material safely and efficiently, without damaging products.
Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized, storing materials in designated areas.
Participate in regular housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating forklifts and handling materials.
Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and immediately report any maintenance or safety issues.
Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a workplace safety culture.
Work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety instructions.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns.
Identify and report any damaged materials to the supervisor.
Assist with bi-annual plant inventories.
Record coil and material movements by scanner, tablets, ERP system.
Participate in shift meetings and support continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Strong knowledge of forklift operation and material handling procedures
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
