Job summary

Worley Warehousing Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring dependable Forklift Operators for weekend shifts. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour, with potential to earn up to $25.00 per hour during the first year through shift differentials, incentives, and progression.

This is a full-time role with a consistent weekend schedule. As a Forklift Operator, you will help keep products moving safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, unloading shipments, stocking, inspecting

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Ability to count, add, subtract, and multiply.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other job-required equipment safely.
• Follow established safety procedures and prescribed work methods.
• Unload inbound shipments and move products to designated storage locations.
• Stack and store merchandise efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Report product damage, shortages, and quality concerns.
• Pick and prepare products for shipment.
• Confirm that the correct quantity and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Move products from staging and storage areas into trailers.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work with team members to meet customer service and productivity.
