Job summary

Autokiniton US Holdings, Inc. in Shepherdsville, Kentucky is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for loading and unloading incoming and outgoing product, supporting inventory control, and ensuring safe, orderly movement of materials on site.

You will verify shipments, prepare and verify subcontractor and customer shipments, operate weigh scales and hand scanners, and maintain neat Finished Goods and WIP areas while following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Fork truck license required; certification may be obtained if not currently certified.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Ability to plan and organize work efficiently.
• Familiarity with inventory control and FIFO concepts is advisable.
• Ability to operate weigh scales and hand scanners.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, confirm and document all incoming shipments for accuracy.
• Plan, prepare, assemble & verify shipments for sub-contractors and customers.
• Unload incoming parts, place in appropriate designated area(s) & FIFO material.
• For aluminum material, FIFO & document Aluminum aging; assist weekly inventories.
• Reload of empty containers pertinent to each supplier, sometimes to include RMA material.
• Move material to designated areas as required (Warehouse locations, OGI, hold, sort).
• Communicate shortages to Dock Coordinator, Team Lead, Supervisor & Material Analyst for authentication.
• Assist/conduct cycle counting (weigh counting & hand counts) and physical inventories.
• Responsible for the neat organization of Finished Goods, Purchased parts and WIP storage areas.
• Housekeeping - maintain a clean and safe work environment; participate in environmental efforts.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities; follow all safety protocols.
