Job summary

Volvo Penta is seeking a Material Handler for the Lexington Production Plant to move materials, load and unload items, and ensure accurate material tracking. You will work with a team to support efficient production and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years in manufacturing, and at least 2 years forklift experience. Fluency in English is essential for communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years experience in manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years forklift experience.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs and operate RF scanning system.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport finished or unfinished products, parts, equipment and supplies.
• Operate forklift to move materials between warehouse and production areas.
• Input transactions in Material Tracking System accurately and timely.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing items for condition and quantity.
