Job summary

Novolex Alsip, IL is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to move raw materials to production and finished goods to the warehouse, ensuring safe, efficient material flow. You will operate a forklift, perform daily inspections and support timely movement of materials on shift.

This role reports to the Materials Manager/Shift Supervisor and requires English literacy, a high school diploma, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must qualify for forklift license/certification on site.
• One year forklift driving experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. Infrequently.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and perform daily inspections.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Interface with departments to ensure timely distribution of materials.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Prepare and submit paperwork on time.
