Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a forklift operator to move, stack and count merchandise to support production shifts.

You will be responsible for safe operation of forklifts and RF/barcode scanning equipment, and may perform order filler, checker duties, and loading/unloading trucks. The role supports production lines by delivering materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and recording all product movements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years forklift experience.
• 1–3 years experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Experience in a fast paced manufacturing/shipping environment.
• Ability to operate computers and radio frequency bar code equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains supplies of materials to production floor.
• Removes finished products from the lines.
• Removes goods from the shrink wrap area to the yard.
• Hangs bags of raw materials for the extruders.
• Clears out trash boxes and waste, scrap, and cut boards.
• Weighs up scrap and maintains proper paperwork for end of shifts.
• Keeps warehouse and storage areas neat and clean, including outside dumpster pad.
• Maintains proper inventory by using correct scanning procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
