Job summary

The role involves unloading and inspecting raw materials, moving finished products with proper labeling, performing pre-shift inspections, following SOPs, inputting data into the computer, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Downtime duties include stacking and banding material as produced.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of forklift experience in a fast-paced production setting.
• Knowledge of safety practices and PPE usage.
• Ability to input data and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts during routine duties.
• Unload, inspect, and stage raw materials, scrap dunnage, packaging materials, chemicals, and other supplies.
• Remove finished products from production areas with proper identification, banding, and labeling.
• Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and identify routine maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety practices and SOPs as directed.
• Access, input, and retrieve information from the computer.
• Maintain housekeeping to prevent trip hazards.
• Support packaging processes (banders, stretch wrappers) as needed.
• Perform manual labor during downtime, including stacking and banding material.
