Job summary

UFP Grandview, LLC in Magna, UT is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move material from inventory to production and back, ensuring paperwork and production records are accurate and available. You will support production with material needs and handle finished goods, while maintaining a clean inventory yard and following safety rules.

No extensive forklift experience is required, but licensing will be completed; must be 18+ and able to work on site in Magna, Utah.

Qualifications

• 9th grade education minimum; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No minimum experience required; forklift driving experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Must successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Move material in process between stations as needed.
• Band, wrap, and/or pack finished goods and label material.
• Move finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report issues.
• Keep rough material and finished goods inventory yard organized and clean.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and company policies.
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
