Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move material from inventory to production and back, while maintaining accurate paperwork and supporting production schedules.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old, with a basic education and forklift licensing in progress; forklift experience is preferred but not required. Training is provided to ensure safe operation and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th grade education; HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift licensing process must be completed.
• Forklift driving experience preferred but not required.
• Basic math and inventory techniques helpful.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Move material between inventory, production, and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and production records.
• Support production with material from inventory per schedule.
• Band, wrap, label, and stage finished goods as needed.
• Participate in safety and continuous improvement programs.
