Job summary

UFP Grandview, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move material from inventory to production and back, ensuring accurate paperwork and production records align with the schedule. The role operates on a 12:45pm - 11:15pm Monday – Thursday shift and offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off.

Candidates must be at least 18, with forklift licensing completed or in process and basic math/inventory knowledge.

Qualifications

• 9th grade education or higher; HS diploma or GED preferred
• Forklift driving experience preferred but not required
• Basic math and inventory techniques knowledge preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Forklift Driver licensing process must be completed

Responsibilities

• Move material in process from one station to another
• Band, wrap, pack finished goods, and label material
• Move finished goods from production to inventory yard or warehouse
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs
• Provide preventive maintenance on equipment
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report issues
• Maintain organized rough material and finished goods inventory yard
• Complete production records as required
• Follow forklift rules and Company policy
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs and meetings
• Perform other duties as required
